We would like to welcome all interested in our beloved breed - Hovawart.

My name is Agnieszka Suchner and together with my husband Radek and our son Błażej and bitch D'Arsy we live 15 km from Warsaw almost on the edge of Kampinoski Wood.

When in 1999 , before our weeding, we started building our house I said to Radek that I wanted a dog. The dog which, if there was a need, would protect me, which I could hug on winter evenings, when my husband was away. The dog which would play with our children. The dog with balanced psychic and nice fur, the dog which always would like to play with us and our children. I found out it was really hard to realize all thos needs in one animal, but after a long search we finally managed. This dog is Hovawart.

Our bitch was born on Christmas Eve 2002 in Zatory , the breeder was Alicja Eidtner, when all around the snow was snowing and the land was frozen. What wonderful little fur balls the puppies were when we came to see them for the first time. At that time they were about 2 weeks old. We were choosing the name for the next 4 weeks. It had to be unusual, unique. From our own 20 proposals we chose D'Arsy.

This lovely ball of fur turned our world (especially nights) up side down, after we had taken her at the age of 1 month. To socialize her with us as much as possible, after the quarantine, we were taking her to our work. We could say that D'Arsy became a full time worker. Nowadays she is always welcome in the office. Waking up during nights was a nightmare. But since the very beginning our bitch has not wanted to urinate in our house and screeched whenever she wanted to go out, so changing each other , sometimes even 5 times during the night we had to go out with her to the garden. Besides we treated it as a good training , because I was pregnant with my son Błażej (that time we called him Junior).

Because we are very ambitious, at the age of only 9 month D'Arsy passed her first adult exam PT1. She was great, she got 195 points out 200 of possible, and she was the best among the passing dogs. Then there was a review of the litter and tests for youth dogs. D'Arsy was in the group of the bests dogs and finished them with a note "recommended to breed" . We enjoyed it so much that we almost missed our son birth (it was day after the tests). Then everything went quickly and easily - Exhibition in Legionowo - Young Champion, Exhibition in Poznań with the title " PolishYoung Champion 2003", and them Young Champion in Głogów and D'Arsy became a Young Champion of Poland. .. so that the story with exhibiting started. After finishing PT course (Companion dog course), we and D'Arsy get to liked it so much that first we started to learn training and searching for people, and then with some help from the amazing pretender Marcin and the teacher Kamila we started to "play" much defense games. This way we are slowly preparing for IPO-1 exam. During this time we also went for exhibitions. Thanks to her charm and beauty, before the age of 2 years, D'Arsy became the Champion of Poland.

Now we would like to start our kennel. We hope that our bitch will turn out to be also a great mother.
